• This position is located at the Alexandria, Virginia office. The work must be performed onsite at this location.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree with a major/minor in computer science or related engineering field

Experience:

• Five years or more experience designing, developing and maintaining web based applications

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications using Microsoft MVC and C#
• 5+ years of full SDLC experience in developing enterprise level applications using Microsoft .Net Framework
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or greater
• Good understanding and proficiency in developing UI using HTML, css, javascript, jQuery or other popular javascript frameworks
• Working knowledge of IIS, TFS and AGILE metholodology
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 or greater (Preferably Visual Studio 2010)
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming/Concepts (OOP) using C#
• Familiarity with Linq-to-Sql and Entity Framework or other open source Object-relational mapping (ORM) implementations
• Understand object oriented programming concepts
• Good communcaition and interpersonal skills
• Works with little or no supervision and adheres to the teams' development standards Subversion source control
