The Federation has provided initial input to the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) and Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank (HIPDB) regarding potential revisions to the NPDB-HIPDB Reporting Codes. The Federation has recommended working with the Federation of Association of Regulatory Boards (FARB) to insure a broad range of input from multiple healthcare regulatory bodies. FARB has agreed to participate in this important effort to enhance the reporting to the NPDB and the NPDB-HIPDB Reporting Codes.
