A member alerted the Board of Directors that the original dates set for the 2009 Annual Meeting in San Diego conflicted with Rosh Hashanah. The Board charged staff to explore alternate dates and this conflict has been resolved by Amanda Jordan, Meeting Planner, with some quick negotiations. Our apologies to all of our members for this oversight by yours truly, thanks to our members for bringing this to my attention, to Amanda for her assistance in getting the Board some options to consider and, of course, to the Board for their quick, responsive action.
The other change you might want to note is that starting in 2009 (NOT 2008) the FSBPT Annual Meeting begins on Wednesday so that the Delegate Assembly finishes on Sunday rather than on Monday. This was in response to many members’ requests that the meeting finish in the same week it began.
