This position is located at the Alexandria, Virginia office. The work may be performed remotely
CLASSIFICATION
Full-time
Education:
Master’s degree required.
Public policy, law, public health, or related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of eight years in related field.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Represent FSBPT and HRRI to key stakeholder groups, including making conference presentations, collaboration with client and peer organizations, and engaging customers at exhibit halls. Broadly contributes to external communications: written reports, research summaries, live presentations and webinars. Serves as an excellent expert resource to members and other stakeholders in public policy relevant to regulation in healthcare
Develops strategies around engaging stakeholders in utilizing research and regulatory products. Works to position research and products in a favorable light with stakeholders representing diverse perspectives. Helps to gather user feedback on research and products and integrate feedback into future work. May help to design surveys and facilitate task forces, expert panels, and other stakeholder groups.
Oversee contractor work, reviews deliverables, and provides feedback when necessary. Collaboratively works with other senior leaders to develop and oversee the HRRI budget of approximately $2 million.
Contributes to shaping and executing organizational strategy through collaboration with leadership, advisors, and other stakeholders. Engages in long-term planning. Evaluates current and identifies future research partners.
Tracks key pubic policy and legislative issues, developes outreach and response strategies.
Coordinates human and physical resources (booth and marketing materials) across events, presentations, and marketing opportunities. Supervises 1-3 administrative staff.
