FSBPT is hosting an in-person NPTE Workshop for Educators on February 21-22, 2023, in San Diego, CA. This workshop immediately precedes the APTA-CSM conference. The workshop will be held at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, and there will be a special room rate available to attendees. The workshop is expected to run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the first day and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on the second day—however, attendees can stay as late as 6:00 p.m. for individualized instruction. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The workshop fee is $750, and there is an additional fee of $50 if you want a printed version of the electronic materials. Please contact email@example.com if you are interested in registering for this workshop or if you want to be added to the waitlist for future workshops.

The workshop will include self-led learning with on-demand presentations, materials, and quizzes; live Q&As and group discussions during the event weekend to discuss the materials; and one-on-one sessions with our Item Writing Trainers and other staff during and after the event weekend. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Do I get continuing education (CE) credit for attending the course? If so, how much? A: Rules for CE vary by jurisdiction, but many licensing jurisdictions award credit for this workshop. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will receive a certificate listing 13.5 contact hours.
Q: What if I can only come to part of the workshop? A: Participants are expected to attend the entire workshop. The workshop is in high demand, so if you cannot participate in the entire workshop, please allow someone else to take the spot. The formal agenda ends at 3:15 p.m. on the second day, but attendees can stay until 6:00 p.m. for optional individual instruction.
Q: Can my school pay for my registration? A: We can accept third-party payments, but registrations that are not paid thirty days prior to the workshop will be canceled.
Q: How many on-demand presentations do I need to review and how do I access those? A: There will be two presentations that we strongly suggest you review prior to the actual workshop date. Details on how to access those presentations in addition to supplemental course material will be sent to you in early January 2023.
Q: Do I need to bring textbooks with me to the workshop? A: No, however, we strongly suggest that you bring your laptop/tablet with you so that you can take notes using the digital course materials that we provide. You can also use your laptop to share previously written questions with an Item Writer Trainer during the optional time.
Q: What is the dress code? A: Dress for comfort. You should plan to bring layers in case it is cold in the conference room.
Q: Who should I talk to about my dietary restriction/allergy? A: There will be an option to submit dietary preferences and restrictions during registration.
