Register for upcoming webinars by following these instructions:

  • Login to the FSBPT Portal*
  • Once you are on the portal, select "Events"
  • Click on the webinar you want to register for
  • Follow the registration process
  • Select "Register Now" (it may take a moment to load)
  • You will see a screen indicating the registration was successful and you will receive an email confirmation 
  • You can also use the calendar icon in the top right to add the event to your calendar. Please note, depending on your calendar and time zone settings it may not have the right time. The time is included in the calendar description. Please confirm your time settings are correct.
  • All done! We will send more information on how to join the webinar closer to the event.

*You will need an account in the FSBPT Portal to register. (Note, if you are an educator, this is different than your educator login.) If you are an FSBPT Member or Volunteer, you may already have an account. If not, you can set that up now by following these steps:

  • Go to the FSBPT Portal
  • Select “Not a member?”
  • Complete your information
  • Select “Continue as Guest”
  • Once you are logged in to the FSBPT Portal, select "Events"
  • Click on the workshop you want to register for
  • Follow the registration process

Will the sessions be recorded?
This depends on the speaker. If speakers approve of having their sessions recorded, those recordings will be available on the FSBPT website. 

Is this the complete schedule of webinars?
No, we are still working with some speakers to finalize details and will share new webinars as they are confirmed.

Challenges for Healthcare Professionals: Management of Substance Use Disorders

The substance use overdose epidemic continues to worsen. We have failed to slow the spread of this complex disease. Many factors contribute to our current state of affairs. Although stigma is our primary barrier, there are other challenges faced across all aspects of healthcare. The speakers will discuss the background behind the upcoming redesign of the National Physical Therapy Examinations—the new content outlines and item types—and the timeline for these changes. We will also discuss the implications of these changes for licensing jurisdictions, educators, and candidates. There will be plenty of time for questions.

 

April 2023 Regulatory Hour: Education Versus Exam

Introducing Students to the PT Compact: A Module for Educators

The PT Compact’s Education Module Task Force has created an evidence-based educational module and field-tested it in the classroom. This webinar will review the data collected and share information about the module, which is ready for adoption by other educators, including objectives, content, assessments, and resources. The webinar prepares participants to incorporate the module into their educational programs.

 

June 2023 Regulatory Hour: State Versus Federal
